At the Auckland Trotting Club’s autumn meeting at Epsom on Saturday, the totalisator handled £56,642 10/, a record for a meeting of only one day, and an increase of £14,941 10/ on last year, when the turnover was £41,701. The principal sprint event, the Henderson Handicap, resulted in a dead-heat for first between Club King and Kete Kura, both of whom returned good divdends. Kete Kura paid double figures.
