Small Attacks Made On British Aerodromes
LONDON, April 2.
Enemy aircraft dropped a few bombs in south-west England last night, but caused little damage, says an Air Ministry communique. There were no casualties.
It was London’s 12th successive nighl without a raid. Otherwise there is nothing to report. Five German bombers were shol down yesterday, three being destroyed by British fighters in one hour. The Air Ministry states that German bombers yesterday made a number of small attacks on British aerodromes Most of the attacks were ineffective, but at one Royal Air Force station there was a number of cas-.-unities, including some killed. Damage was caused to buildings, but the aerodrome remained serviceable. One British fighter is missing.
