Saved. —Twelve British seamen from the ship Western Chief, torpedoe-d 600 miles west of Ireland, arrived at Lisbon after drifting for four days in the ship’s boat. The men were picked up and taken to the Azores. Only 20 were saved out of a crew of 45.
