Dairy Board To Discuss Butter Position
[Per Press Association. —Copyright.'] WELLINGTON, This Day. “Since the announcement that there would be difficulty in connection with the shipping of our butter, consultations have taken place with the Minister for Marketing (Mr Barclay), and other members of the Govei’nment." said the chairman of the Dairy Board (Mr W. E. Hale), in a statement last, night. “It has been decided to call the board together next Wednesday to go into the question of how we can still further increase our output of cheese next season.
“Every possible avenue of securing an increase will then be explored. In the meantime, it can be said definitely that any further change of supply from butter to cheese factories, which can be carried out at once, is in the interests of the industry and the nation.”
