Hokianga School Sports

At a meeting of the general committee of the Hokianga Primary Schools’ Athletic Association, held at Kohukohu, Messrs Crocker, Onsley. G. Harding and J. Pearson were appointed a committee to revise the rules of the association.

The secretary’s action in having a loud speaker made available on the day of the sports for the announcing of events was endorsed.

The following officials were appointed for sports day: Judges, Messrs G. Harding, A. A, Potter, J. Joyce, T. Clark, R. Yarborough, Jack Julian and G. Anclrewes; starter, Mr Jos. Pearson; timekeeper, Mr M. Kelly. The ground stewards are to be appointed on the morning of the sports. It was reported that nine schools had entered for the competitions.
