, The director of V.A.D. services (Miss Tennent) recently addressed members- of the Kaikohe sub-centre of the Red Cross Society. After being introduced by Dr. Fougere, Miss Tennent briefly described the establishment of Ihe society and jthe constitution governing it. following which she explained various matters relating to the work of voluntary aid. Several points on- which members had been doubtful were cleared up, and those present found her address, very interesting and instructive. Miss Tennent’s visit was to have taken place on Tuesday, April 1, but owing to a mistake at headquarters, the date was unavoidably altered to Friday. >
