Maltese Constructing Rock Raid Shelters
(Rec. 10.30 a.m.) MALTA, April 1. Not only men but women and children are working qn the construction of rock shelters throughout the island as a result of heavy damage and loss of life suffered by civilians in air raids.
Seventy-one houses have been completely destroyed in one village, while in a single raid 281 houses and several churches were destroyed in another area.
