The Wellington Racing Club’s autumn meeting was concluded at Trentham on Saturday. Investments totalled £82,847, against £78,302 10/ on the second day last year, an increase of £4544 10/. The total for the meeting was £138,526, compared with £132,827 last year, an increase of £5699. Concluding results: Champion Hack Handicap, of 500 govs.; one mile and three furlongs (3-4) Rakanui, 9.3, 1; (6-3) Filbert, 7.13, 2; (2-1) King’s Toast, 8.8, 3. All started. Two lengths. Time, 2.52 1-5. Suburban Handicap, of 500sovs.; six furlongs.—(4-2) Autolite, 7.6. 1; (6-5) Potautau, 7.0, 2; (1-1) Kentucky, 8.2, 3. All started. Neck each way. Time, 1.123.
Belmont Handicap, of 35050v5.; six furlongs.—(2-2) Wild Fox, 8.0, 1; (1-1) Surveyor General, 9.5, 2; (11-13) Sunny Knight, 7.10, 3. Scratched: No Wonder, Big Wonder, Red Dash. Two lengths; two lengths and a half. Time, 1.14.
Hutt Handicap, of 45050v5.; one mile.— (8-7) White Rajah, 7.0. 1; (2-2> Circular Note, 7.8, 2; (5-4) Kathbella, 8.5, 3. Scratched: Sir Crusoe, Belle Cane. Half a length; a head. Time, 1.41.
