Old Friends Meet After 23 Years Apart

-The life lines of Mrs A. Peers\dams, of Maungakaramea, and Mrs Wilson Rutledge, of Dunedin, have seen interwoven since they were school girls together. They have been separated for periods, but have eventually come to|evher again. Now after 23 years of parting they ire again together, Mrs Rutledge being :be guest of Mrs Peers-Adams. Mrs Peers-Adams, then Elizabeth Cameron, and Mrs Rutledge, then Martha Baird, were school-mates in lie small village of Stewarton, in Ayrhire, Scotland, in the years before the ast war. ;{After leaving school their ways larted. Mrs Rutledge entered the nursing irofession and during the last war lias a sister in a British hospital ship :t the Dardanelles. Met After War. By a strange coincidence, after the /hr the two met again, on the Tilbury Jocks, both preparing to leave for few Zealand in the same ship. gAfter a voyage of seven weeks, in jhich the vessel was delayed by forms, Wellington was reached. {Here the two parted again, Mrs Rutidge to go 'to Dunedin, Mrs Peers.dams to Maungakaramea. ’After this parting of 23 years ago ie two have again met. {This is Mrs Rutledge’s first visit tc
