WELLINGTON, This Day.

In reply to a cablegram of congratu-. lations to the ex-servicemen of Australia on the part played by Australian troops in the capture of Bardia, the president of the New Zealand Returned Soldiers’ Association (Hon. W. Perry,' M.L.C.) has received the following message from the Federal president of the Returned Sailors and Soldiers’ Imperial League of Australia (Sir Gilbert Dyett):— “I deeply appreciate the congratulations of our old comrades on the successful effort of the Australian Imperial Force whose members nave demonstrated their possession of the unconquerable spirit of immortal Anzac.”
