West Turkey Again Rocked By ’Quakes
(Received 12.30 p.m.) ISTANBUL, January 12. Intermittent earthquakes shook western Anatolia heavily and caused damage at Smyrna. Many houses collapsed and the panic stricken population fled to the fields. No casualties have been reported. Slight tremors were continuing in the Smyrna district at noon. A strong ’quake last night caused the collapse of nine houses and damaged 25 in the village of Dehigrmendere.
