Rumanian Iron Guards Stirring

(Received 2 p.m.) LONDON, December 29,

A Budapest message says considerable tension has been caused as a result of a meeting of 5000 Rumanian Iron Guards at Klausenburg. A special deputation from the central committee was despatched specially from Bucharest.

With the approval of Horia Sima, their leader, the Iron Guards openly denounced the Vienna award, and unanimously passed a resolution declaring guerilla warfare against Hungary till Transylvania is restored to Rumania. Arms have been distributed to legionaries without interference from the authorities.

The passage of German troops across Hungary continues. The number of troop trains which passed through Budapest yesterday was the largest for any day so far.
