Salt Deadens Dental Pains

MOSCOW, December 9.
Soviet dental clinics are using a solution of table salt to anaesthetise for drilling teeth. The sponsor, Dr. Levin, of Odessa, says the solution is rubbed in the cavities, and dries up the fluids which are conductors of pain ,to the nerves.
The method is claimed to be 95 p£r cent, successful.
