Track Work At Eilerslie This Morning

LATE SPORTING

[Per Press Association. Copyright. ] AUCKLAND, This Day.

No. 1 grass track was available for fast work at Eilerslie this morning. The best efforts were those of Grey Wings, Ballivor, Night Pilot, and Boy Lu over half a mile, while Kindergarten and Gold Bonnet pleased over six furlongs. The stablemates, Grey Wings and Ballivor did not have much in reserve at the end of half a mile, which they ran in 50 l-ss.

Over a similar distance, Night Pilot and Boy Lu recorded the same time. Night Pilot looks well after his racing at Whangarei, but did not appear to go with as much dash as usual.

Kindergarten was going very easily alongside Gold Race over six furlongs in 1.19 3-5. Golden Bonnet also went six furlongs in 1.19.
