Third Wool Appraisal Completed

[Special to “Northern Advocate ”] AUCKLAND, This Day.

The third wool appraisal of the season at Auckland was completed on Friday evening, earlier than expected, two extra appraisers having been employed in order that the task could be completed to allow the appraising party to leave for Gisborne.

Over 16,000 bales were dealt with.

According to the president of the Auckland Woolbrokers’ Association (Mr F. Binney) the wool was heavier than the lines handled earlier in the season. It was of fine quality and in good condition. Prompt date for payment in connection with the appraisal just completed will be today fortnight, December 23, two days before Christmas, while the next appraisal is due to start two days after Christmas, December 27.
