WAIPU. The Waipu District High School held its first annual sweet pea show in the school on Friday, November 29. The pupils are to be congratulated on the large number of high-quality blooms exhibited. A pleasing feature of the show was the large number of entries in ail classes, there being 300 in all. There was a large attendance of parents and friends. The club is grateful to the judges, Mrs. H. Bowmar and Mrs. A. C. Rees, for their interest and help.
