KING ASKED TO ADVISE LIFTING

OF N.Z. BAN SYDNEY, November 18. The “Theocratic Embassy” in Sydney, which is the headquarters of the Jehovah’s Witnesses sect in Australia and New Zealand, has sent a cablegram to the King protesting against the ban on the organisation in New Zealand, and asking His Majesty to “advise the Nbav Zealand Government to restore the freedom” of the sect. A cablegram has also been sent to the Governor-General of New Zealand (Viscount Galway) asking him to have the ban lifted.
