Eight Ships Still Missing From Convoy

[British Official Wireless] RUGBY, November 13.

It is announced from Ottawa that 13 Canadian naval rating! are missing as a result of the loss of the Jervis Bay. Six more ships of the convoy have now reached port, this being in addition to the 24 previously reported by the Admiralty. Eight ships are still missing. A message from St. Johns, Newfoundland, says 90 survivors of four unidentified ships sunk by the Nazi raider, have arrived aboard a ship which picked up the lifeboats after 36 hours.

They said they were attacked at night by a large ship with heavy guns and deadly, accurate fire. One boat from each ship is still missing.
