Navy’s First. Woman Doctor
Three lines in a recent “London Gezette” made naval history. They recorded the appointment of of the first woman doctor to the Royal Navy. The Announcement said that Mrs Genevieve Rewcastle, M. 8., Ch.B., had been granted relative rank of Sur-geon-Lieutenant in the R.N.V.R. Dr Rewcastle is the wife of Mr C. S. Rewcastle, K.C.
