Farewell To Mrs Bowyer

Prior to her departure to her new home, Mrs Bowyer was entertained at a farewell gathering, tendered her by members of the Whangarei Women’s Institute Drama Circle. Mrs McLachlan kindly lent her home for the occasion.

Mrs Calder, on presenting Mrs Bowyer with two fancy plates, referred to the regret all present felt at her departure, and thanked her for her help in the past .Those present were: Mesdames Calder, Wiley, Beale and MeLachlan and Misses R. McLachlan and R. Beale.
