High Praise For Galway Guild Workers

No praise was too high for the workers of Lady Galway Guilds in Northland said the chairman of the Northland Patriotic Executive (Mr W. Jones) last night. Clothes contributed had been clean and had plenty of we,ar left in them. The secretary (Mr L. O. Hall) reported that the Guild had been established as a sub-committee of the zone organisation. The Guild had despatched completed parcels comprising 16 specially constructed cases on August 2, and six similar cases were almost ready for despatch now. The 16 cases weighed over two tons. •

Fifty per cent of the consignment of six cases to be forwarded next week, comprises new and unworn clothing. Mr H. Chappell advised that Hokianga had another case ready for immediate despatch.
