Whangaroa County To Help Rural Housing
Application is to be made by the Whangaroa County Council for a loan of £SOOO so that the council can administer the Rural Housing Scheme in the county.
This decision was reached at the council's monthly meeting recently, when a small agenda was dealt with. The county clerk (Mr F. C. Tuck) was instructed to communicate with the Bay of Islands Power Board engineer to obtain a report of the load survey made of the county. The board anticipates the arrival in Kaeo this week of a new grader.
