Cost Of Increased Wa g es
An increased cost to the Whangarei County Council of £2OO per annum as a result of the Arbitration Court order granting a 5 per cent, increase in wages was noted in the report of the cierk (Mr. H. C. Hemphill) to the monthly meeting of the council today.
