Ultimatum To Shanghai Judges
SHANGHAI, September 11
Wang Ching-wei's political police headquarters have sent letters to the Chinese judges in the courts of the International Settlement stating: “Since the British troops have withdrawn and the Americans are no longer important, we advise you to join us within a week, otherwise your lives will be worthless.”
