Fine and bright. Very cold nights, with some frosts inland. Milder tomorrow. Westerly to north-westerly winds, light to moderate, increasing tomorrow. Seas moderate, rising on the West Coast. An extensive disturbance is approaching the South Tasman Sea, and conditions will be unsettled in the week-end, with showers developing, especially in western districts.
