[Special to “Northern Advocate ”] AUCKLAND, This Day.

Mrs P. R. Glanville, of Te Awamutu, successfully defended her title of Auckland Ladies’ Provincial golf champion, at Titirangi yesterday afternoon.

Her opponent, Mrs K. Dykes, of Nelson, was generally outplayed with shots to the green.

Mrs Glanvile, after being in the lead from the 11th, settled the issue by holing- a putt of 25 feet at the 17th to win 2 and 1.

The final of the . Middlomore Cup resulted in a win for Mrs G. W. Foote, Rotorua, who beat Mrs B. M. Sellars, Titirangi, 1 up.
