Golfers’ Enlistments.
Nearly 300 members have enlisted j from the leading Melbourne metropolitan golf clubs, and many more are expected to follow their example. Royal Melbourne has 48 enlistments to its credit, and there are several clubs with similar totals. Victorian professionals have resoended particu- j larly well to the call for men, no fewer than 10 having enlisted. Thirtyfour of the caddies at the Manly Golf Club have enlisted for active service. This is regarded as a record for the State.
