Trentham Camp 'Flu Waning
[Special to “Northern Advocate"] WELLINGTON, This Day.
The influenza epidemic in the Trentham Camp is stated to be on the wane.
There are still a number of soldiers absent from duty, but a large proportion of them are in the convalescent stage. The number of new cases reporting during the last few days has been very small. There are 39 cases in the camp hospital and 165 in the racecourse hospital, but well over 100 of the latter are convalescing.
