[Per Press Association. Copyright .]

WANGANUI, This Day.

The Auckland, Wellington and Wanganui building contractors in charge of operations at Waiouru Camp have been advised to order the release of carpenters for urgent work in the camp.

Government housing construction in Wanganui and other parts of the North Island is to cease, and houses where the roofs are on are to be left unfinished in the meantime. Contractors at Waiouru are concentrating on preparing sleeping and other accommodation for workmen.
