Gildo-Hutchinson Draw

[Special to “Northern Advocate.”] AUCKLAND, This Day. Johnny Hutchinson, the American negro lightweight boxer, after leading on points practically throughout, was unlucky not to get the decision over Young Gildo, of Honolulu, at the Town Hall last night. The verdict was a draw. Hutchinson made his first appearance in a New Zealand ring, and showed himself to be a fast, clever and aggressive fighter. Hutchinson weighed 9st 101 b and Gildo 9st 5Ub.
