Australia Cancels King’s Birthday Break
(Received 2 p.m.) MELBOURNE, This Day. The Federal Cabinet has decided to cancel the King’s Birthday holiday celebration on June 17 for all Commonwealth employees, including munition workers. The Federal Government proposes to consult the States, with a view to formulating a common policy on holidays in wartime.
