U.S. Clamour To Aid Allies

The Secretary of the Treasury (Mr Henry Morgenthau) disclosed that the Allies were considering vast purchases of aircraft additional to the 1,200,000,000 dollars’ worth already bought. The demand for aid for the Allies is becoming increasingly vocal all over the United States, Even in the “Isolationist" West, public sentiment appears to be outstripping the amount of aid provided.
