Spy Drama At The Plaza
The thrills of a super-modern spy draira are to be seen in “Television Spy,” now screening at the Plaza Theatre.
The plot centres round the efforts cf a young scientist to keep his developments in the field of long-range television out of the hands of enemy spies. As the story unfolds, William Henry, in the role of a young scientist, discovers a bootleg station using his own line wave. On the table of the picture room, he sees photos of his own plans which have been stolen. He discovers that a girl, Judith Barrett, who he sees in the television broadcast, and her father, have been duped into building a television set by a gang of ruthless spies who plan to sell it to enemy powers. The effbrts of the young scientist to save the girl and her father, and keep the planes out of the hands of a foreign power, make an exciting story, and a satisfactory climax is'reached. Supporting “Television Spy” is “Lost Jungle,” a film featuring Clyde Beatty, hailed as the greatest animal trainer alive.
