Wait And See Before Acting Further
[Special to “Northern Advocate”! AUCKLAND, This Day. Announcing a postponement of public meetings arranged for today, the National Service Committee stated last night that its executive had decided, in view of the Prime Minister’s broadcast on Sunday, that it was better to allow in the early days of the debate in Parliament to elucidate what the Government meant by a Wa Council before taking further action. It was stated that the postponement was not decided upon as a result of Mr Fraser’s veiled suggestion of counter activities or possible restraint of those organising public meetings.
