Lima ' Quake Deathroll Now 300; 1500 Injured

LIMA, May 25. It is estimated so far that 300 people have been killed and 1500 injured in earthquakes. in the Lima and Callao areas. The epicentre of the earthquake was apparently at Callao, where 58 persons were killed. ; There were also 32 killed at Lima, 11 at Bellavista and two at San Miguel. Over 1000 homes were destroyed in various cities. A subsequent shock was only light, although it caused people to rush into .the streets.
