Tite, of 1 Wairua Road, Remuera, has received advice that her son, Pilot-Officer Robert lan Bernard, had been posted missing after air operations on May 16. Pilot-Officer Eernard, who is 25, was a pupil of Mt. Albert Grammar School, and was a keen footballer. • ' A Christchurch message says that Mr and Mrs V. Dromgoole, of Lyttelton, have received advice from the Air Ministry that their son, PilotOfficer lan Dromgoole, has been killed as a result of enemy action. He was aged 24, and left for England last May to join the Royal Air Force. •
