[Special to “Northern Advocate.”] HAMILTON, This Day. The Waikato Trotting Club’s wintei meeting was held at Claudelands on Saturday. The Takanini trainer, F. J. Smith, brought off a big surprise in the Centennial Handicap with Llanvabon, who paid over a score. Llanvabon returned the largest dividend of the day, although Winning Post, True Trust and Glen Bingen (for a plape) also returned double figures. The totalisator handled £25,352, against £27,767 last year.
