Awarua Leaves For Sydney Again

[Special to “ Northern Advocate ”] AUCKLAND, This Day.

The Tasman Empire Airways Fiymgboat Awarua, commanded by Captain J. W. Burgess, left Auckland at 6 a.m. today for Sydney, where she is due early this afternoon. The Awarua carries two passengers, Messrs L. W. Wise, of Auckland, and Mr B. W. Newman, assistant-divisional officer at Sydney for the Commonwealth Bureau of Meteorology, who came across on the last trip of the Awarua.

The flyingboat’s mail consists of between 18,000 and 20,000 letters, weighing 4761 b.
