Mrs R. D. Campbell’ Auckland, is spending three weeks in Hikurangi. Mrs Penman, Huntly, is staying with Mrs Tait, George Street. Miss Nellie Tweedie has returned heme after her annual holidays in Hamilton. . Mr and Mrs McGruer have returned from a three weeks’ holiday in the south. During their vacation they visited the Centennial Exhibition. Miss May Codling. Wellington, is at present holidaying with her mother at Hikurangi. Misses Vera Laverick and Joyce Trimble spent the week-end with relatives in Hikurangi and Whangarei. Mr Stan Meyer has returned to Rotorua after a short holiday with his mother. Mrs Wether all and daughter are spending the school holidays with Mr and Mrs T. Dunn. Mr .Wykes, Auckland, is visiting, Mr and Mrs: Laird, Valley Road. Mr and Mrs J. Norman, accompanied by Mrs Meadows and Mr Teesdale, left on Saturday for an extensive tour of the North Island. Mrs Doel, her son and grandson, arrived on Tuesday from Hamilton to spend the school vacation with Mr and Mrs Geo. Wilson, View Road.

Mr Des Codling, well-known Northland halfback, leaves next week to go into camp at Burnham. Christchurch. He will be attached to the signalling corps.
