Change Still Quiet, But Steady

Little change was shown in the quotations on the Auckland Stock Exchange today. The market was quiet, but steady. The first sale of Auckland Gas since the reorganisation of the capital was reported this morning. The 5/- paid issue changed hands at 4/1. Neither buyer no seller was quoted subsequently. The only sale completed at the noon call today was: National Insurance. 19/8.
