CHICKS AND FRESH AIR
Baby chicks require fresh air, but if they are subjected to cold or draughts there will be heavy losses. Their house should be such that extremes of heat and cold can be guarded against, but above all, see that there is good ventilation. but no draughts. Many socalled epidemics among chicks a few days old are really the result of insufficient ventilation in the incubator room and defective ventilation in the brooder house.
