Whangarei Babies On Screen On Tuesday

The screening of moving pictures of Whangarei candidates in the St. John Ambulance Centennial Baby Carnival will commence at the Plaza Theatre next Tuesday evening. Special arrangements for that evening have been made. The Mayor and Mayoress (Mr and Mrs W. Jones), donors of prizes for successful Whangarei competitors, and officers of the Whangarei Division of the St. John Ambulance Association will be present.

The photographs of the whole of the 150 Whangarei and district babies who are competing will be screened on Tuesday and Wednesday evening and thereafter a series of 50 competitors will be presented with each change of programme. Voting will be on the basis of one vote for each 6d spent in admission charges.
