Knocked Down by Car

Knocked down while attempting to cross Maunu Road last evening, Mr Edwin Holker, of 65 North Street, Whangarei, was taken to the Whangarei Hospital, where it was found he had suffered bruises to his left leg. No treatment was required and he was taken to his home. The driver of the car was Mr L. Cann, sharemilker, of Kirikopuni.
