Russia Buys Oil-Boring Machinery From U.S.

WASHINGTON, February 21. The Soviet has signed a contract for 44 American fast drilling mobile oil rigs mounted on trucks. It is believed they will be used to develop shallow pools in the Crimea. The Soviet Government has posted 2.220,000 dollars to an American bank to cover the purchase. The contracting company has offered to train Soviet technicians in the United States, as none of its employees will go to Russia.
