Easier Rates At Westfield

Pigs sold steadily .at values equal to late rates, there being no quotable change in the average quotations to 6£d per lb. for baconers and 7d to 7£d for porkers. Top price for ox beef was £l4/10/-, •which was obtained for a line from Mr J. E. Leach, of Wellsford, Stock from Mr G. Smith, of Paparoa, brought to £B/7/6. Dalgety and Co., Ltd., report:— Sheep—Extra heavy prime wethers, 27/6 to 28/; heavy prime wethers, 26/’ to 27/: medium prime wethers, 24/6 to 25/6; light prime , wethers, 22/ to 24/; plain and unfinished wethers,
