New Zealanders Dance Haka In Falklands
(Received noon.) LONDON, February 20. The matron of the hospital in the Falkland Islands, where the injured heroes of the River Plate Battle were taken, says a letter to her parents, describes a Christmas party in which New Zealahd sailors put on grass Skirts and danced around the wards. “This greatly delighted the patients, whose heroism, cheerfulness and patience makes one realise what a lot of bosh is talked about the degeneration of the British race,” she states. . t Only two died in hospital and the rest are well on the road to recovery. Very few will be permanently disabled.
