Woollen, Textile Shares Wanted
[Special to “Northern Advocate”] AUCKLAND, This Day. Business was restricted on the Auckland Stock Exchange this morning with limits generally wide, due chiefly to the buyers’ moves. An exception was the wool and textile section, in which offers were very firm. Australian - miscellaneous issues remained dull. The market was still quiet at noon, when the chief features of the sales were advances in E. S. and A. Banks and Kaiapui Wools. Buyers came in for National Banks ad Kaiapoi Wools. Buyers came in for National anks at 1/ above recent sales, while holders asked £2 6/3. Goldsbrough, Morts, easier between £1 8/9 and £1 9/9, but Bunlops were stronger, with buyers at £1 2/. Sales completed at the poon call were: E., S. and A Banks, £5 1/; Kaiapoi, 13/6; Taranaki Oil Developments, 3'.
