Few Respond To Farm Labour Query
AUCKLAND, This Day. Though 5800 copies of a questionnaire relating to the question of farm labour were circularised by tKe Auckland Advisory Council of the National Council of National Education, only 100 replies have been received, and of these about 35 per cent, wanted farm labour, * “It was a very poor response,” said the organiser, Mr J. E. Bell, at the meeting of the council yesterday. "It is practically valueless if only a few reply.” It was decided to write; to the Farmers’ Union calling attention to the questionnaire and asking for’ assistance in enlisting the interests of farmers. * _ -
