RIFLE SHOOTING G. Neville Equals Range Record
Equalling a range record that has stood for a number of years, G. Neville headed the scoring when members of the Whangarei Defence Rifle Club were at the range on Sunda y. His score w.as 48 at 500 yards, 50 at 600 yards, total 98. Other good scores were: J. H. Ashton, 49, 46, handicap 2—97; E. A. Foot, 47, 41, 6—94; J. Norris, 43, 46, 2—91; J. Litchfield, 44, 43. 2—89:. The shoot was in tire club championship series.
