The North Auckland Farmers’ Coop., Ltd., report holding the following sales last week: — . .To\vai, Monday: We had quite a fair yarding, and competition was keen for all classes. Good springing heifers sold from £6 10/ to £7 17/6; smaller heifers, from £4 5/ to £5 12/6; good cows. £6 to £6 15/; others, £5 to £5 17/6;' heavy fat cows, to £8 11/; l'resh-conditioned cows, £3 15/ to £4 2/6; boner cows, £2 10/ to £3 5/; cows and calves, £5 to £6 8/; Jersey heifer calves, £2 7/6; 18-month Shorthorn heifers, 30/; coloured twoyear steers, £3 15/; boner bulls, light, £4 to £5 7/. Kaikohe Sheep Fair, Tuesday: We had a moderate yarding and competition was keen for ewes and wethers, with lambs slightly easier. Good wethers sold from 20/ to 24/6; smaller twotooth wethers, 17/ to 18/9; small twotooth wethers, 14/6 to 17/; two-tooth ewes, 27/ to 28/3; smaller two-tooth ewes, 22/ to 25/6; little two-tooth ewes, 19/ to 21/; good mixed age ewes, 16/6 to 19/3; five-year ewes, 15/6 to 17/; six-year ewes, 14/6 to 15/3; full-mouth ewes, 12/ to 14/2; aged ewes, 6/6 to 11/3; good store lambs, 12/ to 14/7; medium store lambs, 8/6 to 11/3; smaller, 6/6 to 8/4; small ewe lambs, 12/9 to 14/6. Kaikohe Ram Fair, Wednesday: Romney rams were again not wanted. Downs sold freely. One-shear Romney rams brought from 1 to 5 gns. The latter price was received for two nicely woolled sheep bred by Mr J. T. Boyde, Paparoa. Down rams sold from 5 to 7.1 gns, whilst inferior ones sold from 34 to 43 gns. Aged Southdown rams, from 11/6 to 21/; aged Romneys, from 4/6 to 1 gn. Paparoa Sheep Fair, Thursday: A very good yarding for a second fair, and competition was keen throughout, with the exception of Romney rams, which were hard to quit. Prices were as follows: Two and four-tooth wethers, 17/9 to 21/; two-tooth ewes, 26/ to 28/6; small two-tooth ewes, 22/ to 25/6; good four-year ewes passed at 21/; five-year ewes, 16/6 to 19/; sixyear ewes, 14/3 to 15/10; full-mouth ewes, 9/6 to 13/5; cull ewes, 4/6 to 7/11; ewe lambs, 15/ to 16/10; good store lambs, 12/6 to 14/1; medium store lambs, 9/ to 11/3; small store lambs, 6/3 to 8/9; one-shear Romney rams, 2 to 4i gns; aged Romney rams, 10/ to \\ gns; one-shear Southdown rams, 4 to 51 gns; others, 2.3 to 34 gns; aged Southdown rams, 1 to 14 gns. Pakotai, Friday: We had a very fair yarding, but the attendance was small and competition not too keen. Forward condition wethers, 21/7; twotooths, 16/ to 18/6; two-tooth ewes, small, 24/; aged ewes, 9/7 to 12/3; ewe lambs, 10/ to 15/7; wether lambs, 7/ to 9/6; small lambs, 6/6; aged Romney rams, 7/. to 1£ gns; aged Southdown rams, l£gns.
